Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation announces a call “Joint research activities with foreign scientists originated from Georgia”

The aim of the call is to support close cooperation of Georgian scientific manpower with successful scientists originated from Georgia working in the research centers abroad. The project grants will help local researchers to become familiar with scientific novelties of the world’s leading countries and assimilate the modern research technologies. The implementation of the joint projects will enable our scientific Diasporas’ representatives to have permanent business contacts with home country and to make use of their knowledge and experience to raise the level of science in Georgia.

The duration of a project must be between 24, 30 and 36 months. The annual budget requested from the Foundation should not exceed 50 000 GEL.

Online registration of the projects will be available from 8 June 2011 to 20 July 2011.
