Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation has met with scientists from Georgian National Center of Manusc_ripts

In order to get acquainted with the state-of-affairs in Science, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation’s Director General continues visiting scientific-research organizations.

Today, Mr. Sulkhan Sisauri has visited Georgian National Center of Manuscripts to take a view of the ancient manuscript books and storages of historical documents, as well as personal archives of Georgian writers and public figures. During the meeting with the research staff of the Center, Director General has become familiar with the outcomes of research activities and the ongoing projects being funded by Rustaveli Foundation. According to Director General’s statement, such meetings are of importance both for the Foundation’s leadership and scientists in order to ensure the exchange of information and maintaining of close business contacts. This type of activity can be considered as an effective instrument for solution of diverse problems in S&T community of Georgia.

Eight projects with participation of research groups from National Center of Manuscripts have been funded in the frame of the grants provided by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, with 2 projects completed, while 6 projects being underway.
