The National Congress of the Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology was held with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation

The sixth National Congress of the Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology was funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation in the framework of Conference Grants.

The opening ceremony of the congress was held on 1st October in Tbilisi at “Radisson Blue Iveria” Hotel. Welcome addresses were delivered by: Georgia's First Lady Sandra Roelofs, Vice-President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Fridon Todua, Vice-President of European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Victoria Cardona, Member of Board of Directors of World Allergy Organization, etc.

Georgian Parliament’s Vice-Speaker Mr. Gigi Tsereteli conveyed welcome address on behalf of the President of Georgia.

More than 300 scientists and 23 rapporteurs from the United States, Spain, Holland, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, South Africa, Turkey, etc. have participated in the congress.
