The main purpose of the Short-term Individual travel Grants program is to activate the scientific potential of Georgia scientists, to attract young scientists and contribute to the holding of leading positions in science.

Competition program provides much needed financial support to Georgian Scientists to participate in international scientific events and for them to keep current in their respective fields of research and work.

The competition is administered by the Georgia National science Foundation and funded through the State Budget
