In the scope of the joint call announced by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) and French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in the framework of the Bilateral Research Grant Programme 10 project proposals have been submitted in the following priority areas:

1. Mathematics, Mechanics – 3 projects;

2. Physics - 4 projects;

3. Life Sciences - 3 projects;

Two project proposals were ineligible while the rest 8 were sent to the local peer-reviewers for evaluation (2 reviewers per project).

In accordance with the guidelines of the call, the 7 project proposals having received average point of more than 80 at the first stage of evaluation (conducted by SRNSF) will be submitted to CNRS for final selection.
