Call on the setting up of educational-cognitive computer programs has been announced

On the basis of the decree of the Government of Georgia (23 July; #171) the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation announces grant competition for setting up of educational-cognitive computer programs.

The aim of the call is to provide the financial support to set up educational-cognitive computer programs and creation of the respective computer programs being in compliance with the requirements of the national curriculum plan for the general education schools.

The project will facilitate the starting level pupils to better comprehend curriculum, raise interest towards syllabus materials, and develop skills for making use of information and communication technologies.

The projects to be funded will be selected within the following thematic areas:

  • athematics (including Informatics)
  • Natural Sciences, Ecology
  • History, Geography,
  • Georgian Language and Literature
  • Foreign Languages

Grantee can be citizen of Georgia or legal person registered in Georgia, as well as foreign country’s citizen – resident of Georgia.

The deadline for submission of documents to the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation is 14 December 2010.
