On 28-31 October 2010 National Museum in cooperation with Georgian National Academy of Sciences organized International conference “Georgian Archaeology at the crossroads of centuries: Results and Perspectives”. The event was funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation in the framework of Conference Grants.

Alongside with Georgian scientists more than 20 researchers from Germany, France, United Kingdom and other countries have participated in the conference.

The conference aimed to analyze the studies of the Georgian archaeological heritage’s history and its future prospects.
