Scientists from Agricultural University of Georgia are working on the new technology of table wine storage

Scientists from Agricultural University are working on the new technology of storing the table wine. The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation will allocate around 50 000 Georgia Laries for this 1- year duration research project. Mr.Lasha Gotsiridze, Rector of Agricultural University of Georgia and Mr. Sulkhan Sisauri, Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation became familiar with the ongoing research activities. The aim of the research project is the replacement of toxical effect materials with natural antiseptic in the biotechnological processes of wine making. The research results are of importance, on the one hand, for the development of agricultural sector, and on the other hand, for the wine makers and also for ordinary customers in order to avoid the wine’s toxic effect.
