Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation’s Science Board has made a decision on funding of the new project

In the scope of the call: “State grant for the development of joint research and educational programs in the word’s leading research centers and their further application in Georgia”, the project - “ Establishment and Scientific Development of Tbilisi Institute of Metabolic Genetics in Cooperation with Max Planck Society” submitted by Ilia State University has been granted. This decision was made at the meeting of Science Board on 2 April 2011.

The aim of the call is to create the research center of international standing in Georgia with utilization of the expertise of foreign leading research institutes. Project’s manager is Mr. Teimuraz Kurtskhalia.
