Results of the call “State Science Grants for Applied Research 2012”

The Scientific Board of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation approved the results of the call “State Science Grants for Applied Research 2012”.

Results of the first stage of the competition

According to the decision of the Scientific Board of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, the selection of the projects to be proceeded to the second stage of competition was based on the following principles:

1. Top-6 ranked projects out of each direction, scored higher than 85 proceed to the second stage of competition;
2. In case the equality in scores precludes from selecting exactly 6 projects out of each direction, then more than six projects are allowed to proceed. For example, if 6-th and 7-th projects have the equal scores, both of them would proceed to the second stage of the evaluation and respectively 7 projects instead of 6 will be presented before the Scientific Board.

In view of the aforementioned, 52 project proposals have proceeded to the second stage of competition of the call “State Science Grants for Applied Research 2012”.
