Results of the call “State Science Grants for Fundamental Research 2012”

The Scientific Board of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation approved the results of the call “State Science Grants for Fundamental Research 2012”.

According to the decision of the Scientific Board of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, distribution of funds among scientific directions and selection of the projects for funding in the frame of the call “State Science Grants for Fundamental Research 2012” was based on the following principles:

1. Budget of the call should be allocated among various scientific fields in proportion to the number of “good” (given 86 or higher point) projects in the field.
2. The projects under each scientific field should be funded strictly in accordance with ranking - from the top in descending order, and the projects with the same points should be funded equally.
3. At least 3 projects should be funded under each scientific field.
4. The projects given 95 or higher point should be guaranteed funding.

In view of the aforementioned, 94 project proposals have been selected for funding in the scope of the call “State Science Grants for Fundamental Research 2012”.(see the link below)
